The public are being invited to share the survey with even more young people after the deadline was extended to August 7. Lettie Wareing, deputy chair of Cumbria Future Generation, said: "We created the Youth Ask survey because young people were telling us that they wanted to have a say in decisions which will affect their futures. The survey, which takes around ten minutes to complete, has been developed by the Cumbria Future Generation steering group in collaboration with Cumbria Youth Alliance. Parents, carers, teachers, employers, and other adults who work with young people are being encouraged to share the survey and promote participation.
