St Helens Council has joined authorities across the Liverpool City Region in inviting people to pause at 3pm today (July 29) to remember Alice da Silva Aguiar, Bebe King and Elsie Dot Stancombe, who were killed in the tragedy two years ago.
"In St Helens Borough we are encouraging the community to join with its neighbours in Southport and across the Liverpool City Region in a three-minute silence at 3pm today."
The attack took place on July 29, 2024, during a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, devastating families and sending shockwaves through the entire country.
As part of today's commemoration, the flag at St Helens Town Hall is flying at half-mast.
"We stand shoulder to shoulder with our neighbours in Southport today, and every day against hate and division."
