Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended incidents on July 20, 21, 23, and 26, with three involving outdoor fires and another involving two sheds. Just two days later, on Thursday, July 23, firefighters were called back to the area following reports of another field fire. While all four incidents were reported on or around Fox Bank Lane, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service has not indicated whether the fires are linked. However, the incidents prompted four separate call-outs to the same area of Whiston in less than a week.
