David Baines MP said social care reform could no longer be avoided. He said: "Fixing our social care system is something we need to face head on. Alongside the Government’s efforts, Baroness Louise Casey is leading the Independent Commission on Adult Social Care, which has been tasked with developing recommendations for a National Care Service. "Fixing adult social care is about far more than money. It’s only by facing up to this problem together that we can fix social care once and for all."
