Earlier, a tiger rally was flagged off at the Main entrance, with about 240 students participating in it. Speaking on the occasion, Vasantha said July 29 is celebrated as International Tiger Day in order to create awareness among the people on Tiger conservation. The Zoo Park is successfully breeding tigers in captivity, she said.
