On the commercial front, Domenicali said Formula 1 had become “a reference for all the major sports leagues” seeking to understand its sustained growth. Portugal’s Portimão will return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2027 and 2028 under a multi-year agreement announced at the end of 2025.
