The cathedral lawns hosted a vibrant afternoon of South Asian culture on Sunday, July 26, as part of the 'Music on the Lawns' summer programme. Art Asia, a leading South Asian arts organisation, curated the event in partnership with Salisbury Cathedral. A spokesperson for Salisbury Cathedral said: "Yesterday afternoon the cathedral lawns were filled with music and dance as Art Asia brought the sounds of India to Salisbury Cathedral. The event was free and open to all, with families and attendees of all ages enjoying the drop-in style format. A spokesperson said: "There's still one more free 'Music on the Lawns' event to go this summer; don't miss the brilliant Swing Unlimited Big Band on Sunday 16 August."
