An elderly woman who was walking her dog has been taken to hospital after a collision on the A22 Hailsham Bypass this morning (July 29). The woman's dog has been taken to a veterinary clinic. "It follows a collision involving a white Volvo XC40 and a pedestrian which happened at about 7.30 am today (July 29). A spokesperson said: "South East Coast Ambulance Service was called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian on the A22 Hailsham Bypass at approximately 7.30 am today.
