The first beavers to be born north of the Great Glen in 400 years have delighted conservationists. The baby beavers were spotted recently in Loch Beinn a’Mheadhoin, and both appear to be healthy and thriving. But images of the kits – including one playing alongside its mother – have been captured by wildlife cameras as part of Trees for Life’s monitoring work.
