Drivers will be sent round via Owen Street, Sedgley Road West and Hurst Lane, and right‑turns into Factory Road from Hurst Lane will be banned while the works take place. Cradley Heath will see several overnight closures. Woods Lane will close from the junction with Chester Road for around 50 metres on August 3, 7pm–6am, for level crossing inspection and testing by Network Rail. On the same start date, Hayseech in Cradley Heath will both be shut 24 hours a day until August 5 for repair works on behalf of South Staffs Water, with diversions signed locally and frontage access maintained where it is safe.
