Motorists have reported long queues and delays on the A451 Stourbridge Road in Kidderminster with some residents stuck in traffic for over half an hour. The tailbacks have spanned from Broadwaters Park to The Horsefair with some drivers describing it as "gridlocked". There are currently temporary multi-way lights on the main road out of the town towards Stourbridge due to utility asset works by National Grid. The traffic lights are in place near the mini roundabout towards the A449 Wolverhampton Road. Work has been taking place on the A451 Stourbridge Road near The Park Gate for several weeks with a valid permit in place until September 25.
