Anniversary Silver Eagle opens at 117,233 as Freedom Ringing totals decline across all three releasesThe U.S. Mint’s highly anticipated 2026-W Enhanced Uncirculated American Silver Eagle opened with sales of 117,233 after collectors had only about three minutes to place orders following its July 21 release. Featuring the dual date 1776 ~ 2026 and a Liberty Bell "250" privy mark commemorating the nation’s Semiquincentennial, the coin is only the second American Silver Eagle issued with an enhanced uncirculated finish, following the 2013 release. Among the three, the $19,600 one-ounce gold coin posted the largest reduction, falling 131 to 1,297, or 64% of its 2,026-piece limit. 2026 Mint Set Posts Notable DeclineThe uncirculated 2026 Mint Set posted its largest weekly adjustment since its June 30 launch, falling by 11,468 to 280,780. Aside from the new Silver Eagle, 5 products gained more than 1,000 units compared with 7 in the previous report.
