ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Rochester man is facing charges after New York State Police say he raped a 15-year-old boy who he met online.
State Police began investigating last October after getting a referral from the Office of Children and Family Services.
Investigators say the victim communicated with Evans through the Tinder app before meeting with him.
Evans is charged with two felonies: third-degree rape and use of a child less than 17 in a sexual performance.
Investigators say they used search warrants, seized electronic devices, and did multiple interviews to make the arrest.
