Marlene Sue Perkins, 62, of Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at her home. Born on January 26, 1964, in Rushville, Indiana, Marlene was the daughter of Paul and Helen (Reynolds) Carpenter. Marlene worked for many years as a retail cashier. She enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music, watching television—especially comedy shows—and spending time talking with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Helen Carpenter; her daughter, Kimberley Ann Richey; and her brother, Paul Junior Carpenter.
