This Hyderabad initiative offers investment for budding startupsHyderabad: In partnership with T-Hub, deep-technology venture capital firm Abyro Capital on Wednesday announced the launch of ‘Beacon’, a flagship platform dedicated to discovering, investing in and accelerating early-stage SpaceTech startups.
Under the program, five selected startups will receive an initial investment commitment of $500,000 each on Day 1, alongside access to follow-on funding, technical validation, and strategic mentorship from leading Indian space industry veterans.
Objectives of BeaconBeacon aims to bridge the gap between breakthrough technologies and early-stage institutional capital as India’s private space sector expands.
Speaking about the initiative, Vamsi Kora, Founder and Managing Partner of Abyro Capital, emphasised the need for purpose-built avenues for founders in their earliest stages.
The initiative will also feature a council of advisors and founder mentors comprising deep-tech entrepreneurs and space ecosystem leaders.
