This month, the National Endowment for the Humanities awarded The Frazier History Museum and the Sons of the American Revolution nearly $750,000 to digitize 250 Revolutionary War artifacts. Over the years, the Sons of the American Revolution — an organization that honors American soldiers and history — collected items from the late 18th century. The Sons of the American Revolution received $200,000 of the grant money to digitize their collection. The organization and the Frazier History Museum will work alongside Flyover Zone , a Bloomington, Indiana-based company, to photograph the artifacts. The objects will also join the Sons of the American Revolution permanent collection in its museum opening early next year.
