Investing.com -- Airbus reported a sharp rise in second-quarter earnings on Wednesday, driven by higher commercial aircraft deliveries and improved performance across its businesses, while maintaining its full-year 2026 guidance. Adjusted EBIT climbed 54% to €2.43 billion, while reported EBIT more than doubled to €2.52 billion. The commercial aircraft division generated revenue of €15.4 billion, up 37% year-on-year, while reported EBIT surged 150% to €1.95 billion. The Toulouse, France-based company maintained its forecast of approximately 870 commercial aircraft deliveries for 2026 and kept its earnings guidance unchanged. Airbus delivered 351 aircraft in the first half of 2026, with most deliveries occurring in the second quarter.
