Located at the Royal Oldham Hospital, the garden will be developed in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and will transform the existing Fountain Gardens, a space that has been a feature of the hospital grounds for more than 90 years. There will also be upgraded hardstanding areas, a garden shelter, and improvements to the central fountain and its filtration system. The delivery of the new planting will take place in a single phase as part of the wider wellbeing garden construction programme, with completion expected in autumn 2026.
