This was stated to the Iranian student news agency Isna by Parliament Vice-President Ali Nikzad, emphasizing that Hormuz belongs to Iran. "We consider the strait a conquest of the recent imposed war and a divine gift to the great Iranian nation," Nikzad explained, adding that Tehran will not give up claiming its rights over Hormuz.
