Detroit — Tigers right fielder Matt Vierling left Wednesday's game against the Orioles in the fifth inning after he pulled up abruptly heading to third base. Vierling, who had doubled and scored in the third inning, lined a ball to center field that skipped past center fielder Leody Taveras and rolled to the wall.
