One person was killed and two injured following a multi-vehicle accident on the N2 at Gamtoos Hill outside Jeffreys Bay on Wednesday. Spokesperson for Provincial Traffic, Unathi Binqose, says the accident involved two cash-in-transit vehicles and a seven-seater passenger vehicle. A preliminary report indicates that the seven-seater was travelling on the wrong side of the road when it collided with one of the armoured vehicles. Binqose says in an attempt to avoid the crash, the other armoured vehicle veered off the road and went down an embankment.
