Article content The NBCC contingent of 11 athletes—six women and five men—competed in the U16 , U18 age and Special Olympics (SO) categories. The qualifying regatta was the final opportunity for athletes to secure their spots at the National Championships, and the North Bay paddlers rose to the occasion. With qualifications secured, the North Bay Canoe Club will now focus on preparing for the National Championships, where its athletes will compete against Canada’s top paddlers.
