Christopher McConville had been charged with two counts of sexual assault against one woman in her home in Norfolk between May 2017 and August 2019. The 59-year-old was sentenced to 20 months' imprisonment after he was convicted of both offences against the woman - who cannot be identified for legal reasons - in February, following a three-week trial. McConville, of Prince of Wales Road in Caister, near Great Yarmouth, was sentenced by Judge Katharine Moore at Norwich Crown Court on Tuesday (July 28). The verdicts came after jurors returned a majority verdict following more than 14 hours of deliberations. McConville had also been accused of a further sexual assault against another woman, who has since died, on March 2, 2017.
