Around 10,000 youngsters aged 12 to 18 from across the UK and Europe are attending the 22nd Newday event, a member of the Christian organisation Evangelical Alliance, at the Norfolk Showground. Running from Monday to Friday this week, it provides a summer festival full of activities to help attendees "find their purpose in God". There are live music gigs in the evenings (Image: Newday Generation)It involves activities involving dance, sports and music alongside talks and workshops from bible teachers. There are also open mic events and live music gigs from artists such as Kima Otung, who has had music featured in the Netflix programme North of North and won the Best Single category at the Black Welsh Music Awards. Groups have travelled from France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands to attend the event in the past.
