Activities paused on part of Norfolk Broads over water quality concerns

The activities, held at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden in South Walsham, have been suspended due to high algae levels in the water.
The site features a private section of the water at the heart of the Broads, which hosts boat trips and water activities.
Although recent water quality results show some improvement from the last test, the levels still do not meet safety standards and therefore paddleboarding and swimming cannot resume.
A spokesman for Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden said: "We know this will be disappointing news, and we really appreciate your continued patience and understanding while we continue to monitor the water quality closely."
The next round of water quality testing is scheduled for the week beginning August 3.
