Per multiple reports, former MSUM Quarterback Jack Strand will be in line for more work to start training camp for the Atlanta Falcons. ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted on X that the Falcons had released veteran quarterback Trevor Siemian with a non-football injury today. That left Strand as one of three active quarterbacks on the Falcons roster. The Falcons made a corresponding move to the Siemian release by signing veteran quarterback Cooper Rush, per ESPN’s Marc Raimondi. The former Minnesota State Moorhead QB standout played in 42 games throughout his time with the program.
