A report from Cebu Daily News shares that the Cebu City Council recently approved a resolution that targets the installation of at least two EV chargers at every fuel station across the city. In 2025, ACMobility activated its first 16 EV chargers in Cebu, while V-Green has committed to rolling out charging stations and battery-swapping sites later this year. Before that, the Love Bus was launched with a complimentary route between Talisay City–Anjo World and Cebu City. To achieve that, a nationwide EV charging network will need to be in place to support EV owners and drivers. It will be interesting to see how Cebu City adopts this resolution, and how fuel station operators will respond.
