Monsoon rains and gusty winds with isolated heavy falls are likely in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and most parts of Pakistan on Wednesday night and the next two days, with occasional breaks.
Impacts and AdvisoriesHeavy rains may cause urban flooding in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Pothohar region, Peshawar, Nowshera, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Lahore and Faisalabad.
Landslides may occur in vulnerable areas of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Buner, Battagram, Mansehra, Shangla, Abbottabad), Murree, Galyat, and Kashmir.
Heavy rains may generate flash floods in local streams/nullahs of Kashmir, Murree, Galyat, Northeastern Punjab, Islamabad, Pothohar region, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and hill torrents of D G Khan and Northeastern Balochistan.
