GRAND FORKS — The Grand Forks School Board has delayed its vote on approving a tax incentive for a proposed development project at Ray Richards Golf Course. During a special meeting Tuesday, board members opted to delay the vote to next month. “I want to make clear that the special meeting was not to create less transparency, but rather the timeline sometimes initiates us to hold a special meeting.” As one of Grand Forks County’s three taxing authorities, the board is responsible for approving development projects that receive PILOTs. Board members are expected to vote on Aug. 10.
