New Delhi [India], July 29 (ANI): Saket Court on Thursday took a serious view during the recording of Prosecution Evidence in the Shraddha Walkar murder case.
The court asked the defence counsel for accused Aaftab Amin Poonawala to complete the cross-examination of the prosecution witness, Head Constable (HC) Deepak, by July 30, saying that sufficient opportunity has already been granted.
Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Hargurvarinder Singh Jaggi cautioned the defence counsel and said that if he fails to conclude the cross-examination, the law shall take its own course.
"The defence counsel is put to notice that sufficient opportunities to cross-examine the witness have already been granted.
Advocate Akshay Bhandari, the defence counsel for the accused, submitted at BAR that he will conclude the cross-examination of HC Deepak tomorrow.
