On Wednesday, Detective Ryan Dillon with the Allen County-Scottsville Criminal Investigation Unit released further information regarding the conditions in the home and current steps in the investigation process. On Monday, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office and Scottsville Police Department responded to a reported death on Cottage Drive. Dillon states authorities are waiting on an official cause of death from an autopsy at the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
