BOULDER — Ambrosia Biosciences Inc. recently hired Dr. Linda Shapiro Manning as its chief medical officer. In March, Ambrosia closed a $100 million Series B round to help fund clinical trials of its oral small molecule GLP-1 weight loss drug candidate. “Linda is an exceptional leader with a proven track record of obesity clinical development and extensive experience advancing novel therapies through the regulatory process. I’m thrilled to welcome Linda to the Ambrosia team,” Ambrosia CEO Nick Traggis said in the release. Ambrosia also recently recruited University of Michigan School of Medicine professor and Michigan Nutrition Obesity Research Center director Dr. Randy Seeley to its board of directors.
