BEL AIR—The Pacific Palisades will host the German Olympic National Team at the Bel-Air Bay Club during the 2028 Olympic Games. Deutsche Sport Marketing is the commercial marketing arm of the German Olympic Sports Confederation. The Bel-Air Bay Club is located at 16801 Pacific Coast Highway and opened in 1927, financed by Alphonzo Bell Sr, one of the primary developers of West Los Angeles. After purchasing roughly 1,760 acres of hillside land in West Los Angeles in the early 1920s, Bell went on to create the world-famous neighborhood of Bel-Air. The Bel-Air Bay Club was once the go-to spot for the rich and famous during the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s.
