The former CEO of property services provider and estate agent Connells has won claims for direct age discrimination and constructive unfair dismissal at an employment tribunal.
David Livesey had worked as chief executive for Connells, which is owned by Skipton Group Holdings, since 2008, having joined the company in 1990.
He also claimed age discrimination against Connells and Skipton.
In the employment tribunal, Livesey argued that he was forced out of his position rather than receiving a fair resignation or retirement process.
Skipton Group said in a statement: “We are pleased that all bullying claims were decisively rejected by the tribunal.
