Red Bank Increases Sanitation FeeHow and Why this Money is ImportantRED BANK, Tenn. (WDEF) – The City of Red Bank has increased its monthly sanitation fee by 50%.
While many residents may be financially fiscal this season, the increase helps Red Bank to continue shining for all its locals.
While other communities collect funds through tax revenue or property taxes, Red Bank collects residential trash via annual fees.
“This fee covers recycling, sanitation, and other services we offer to include,” said Red Bank City Manager Martin Granum.
With residential pick up alone, the city handles 4,890 trash cans a week, and while many residents may be financially fiscal this season, this increase intends to help Red Bank shine for all its locals.
