Flight EZY2237 left Manchester Airport at 7.46pm yesterday (July 28), after departing almost an hour later than scheduled. The aircraft was due to arrive in Copenhagen at 9.45pm but instead diverted to Newcastle Airport, where it landed safely. It then at 10.13pm left Newcastle and landed in Copenhagen at 12.30am, three hours after schedule. In an update issued to passengers after the diversion, easyJet said: "We’re very sorry that your flight has now been diverted. The flight was operated by easyJet UK.
