A judge said there were “sinister implications” as to the defendant’s carrying of the knives and told Waite to expect to receive, “a considerable” prison sentence. Imposing the 42-month prison sentence, including six months for the knife possession, Judge Nathan Adams also made a deprivation order for both knives seized by police upon the defendant’s arrest.
