Mother Parkers Expands Into Coffee Extract Manufacturing

Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee has opened a new coffee extract manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ontario, following what the private-label specialist described as a multiyear, multimillion-dollar investment.
Mother Parkers said the platform brings together coffee sourcing, roasting, extraction, aseptic processing, product development, packaging and commercial-scale manufacturing.
Unlike traditional roasted coffee manufacturing, the new operation is built around liquid coffee extracts.
Mother Parkers said the aseptic processing system allows products to remain shelf-stable before opening, which can simplify storage, transportation and handling for commercial customers.
“We are investing in innovation because customers need practical, scalable ways to bring cold coffee and coffee extract solutions to market with consistency, quality and operational simplicity,” Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee President and CEO Danielle Barran said in an announcement of the opening.
