The Domestic Abuse (DA) Alliance has launched Together We Mend, a national fundraising initiative in support of White Ribbon UK, combining art, community action, and fundraising to raise awareness of violence against women and girls.
The project centres on a hand-crocheted blanket featuring the iconic white ribbon symbol, created in partnership with artist and campaigner Holly Ringrose.
In return, they’ll receive a limited-edition crochet white ribbon pin created by Ms Ringrose.
Funds raised will support White Ribbon UK’s mission to engage men and boys in ending violence against women and girls.
Farhana Begum, Arts, Tourism, Heritage and Culture Manager and Head of St Albans Museums, said: "St Albans Museum + Gallery provides a vital civic space where our community can come together to reflect, connect and inspire positive change.
