Now that the Philadelphia Eagles signed Jalen Carter to a mammoth contract extension, it inherently complicated matters for the Dallas Cowboys, who are looking to lock up Quinnen Williams long-term. The Cowboys saw the impact Williams had on their defense in the second half of last season. Yes, the defense still finished in historically awful territory, but they took strides in the right direction after trading for him, and Jerry and Stephen Jones are well aware of that fact. Quinnen Williams is entering the third season of a four-year, $96 million contract extension he signed with the New Yok Jets. Regardless of where the price tag lands, Stephen Jones and the Dallas Cowboys know they have to extend Quinnen Williams, and it's encouraging to know they see him as a priority.
