The inaugural Pembroke regatta took place at Castle Pond this weekend, with all proceeds supporting Forever 11, a water safety charity established in memory of Zac Thompson, who died after being swept into the sea in 2022.
Pembroke Town Council said: "What a brilliant day down at the Castle Pond, for Pembroke's first regatta."
Carli Newell, chair of Forever 11, said: "Every child in Pembrokeshire deserves the right to have water safety sessions.
Children also learn the RNLI’s Float to Live advice and, in some cases, earn nationally recognised Paddle Safe and Swim Safe qualifications.
Since 2022, Forever 11 estimates it has delivered more than 10,000 hours of water safety education.
