The car of a missing 89-year-old Mendota Heights man has been found in Douglas County, Wisconsin, according to state officials. Edward Hanton was seen leaving his Mendota Heights home about a week ago and authorities said he was heading towards Superior, Wis. As of Wednesday afternoon, Hanton has not been located. Mendota Heights Police Department held a press conference on Friday to get the word out about Hanton’s disappearance. His family said he has had some memory issues in the past but has never been diagnosed with dementia or a similar health issue.
