On Thursday, July 23, 25-year-old Jamie Chappell was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver at Wain Homes' 'Widham Gardens' building site in Purton. The Purton development site, just outside of Swindon, was completely cordoned off following the incident as a police investigation was launched.
