Charter says research and technology infrastructures should proactively promote themselves to industry usersThe European Commission has adopted a charter intended to speed up and simplify companies’ access to Europe’s research and technology infrastructures, such as advanced laboratories and large scientific instruments. The Charter of Access for Industrial Users to Research and Technology Infrastructures, published on 28 July, says that Europe has a “world-class” ecosystem of such infrastructures but its companies face “significant barriers” to accessing them.
