Announced via press release, the Pokémon Company group revealed that Part 1 of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass paid DLC is set to release on August 5 for the Nintendo Switch 2. Players players can grow watermelons with the help of Pokémon with the Water specialty, while Pokémon with the Generate specialty can power bubble machines or activate streetlights. If Pokémon Pokopia players download the free Ver 2.0.0 update from August 5, they’ll be able to learn the move Dive from Manaphy. Pokémon Pokopia debuted on March 5th, 2026 as one of the first dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 games. CGM’s Chris de Hoog said, “After almost a week in Pokémon Pokopia, I still feel like I have several worlds left to conquer.”
