She called Rochester Mayor Trent Odell, Stocking and Rochester City Council members “visionaries.” As her husband has Parkinson’s disease, Jane Ricketts worked with him to start the Rock Steady Boxing class for people with the illness. Jane Ricketts has volunteered with the American Cancer Society’s Reach to Recovery as she’s a 29-year cancer survivor. “I also believe we should prepare for life after death,” said Jane Ricketts.
