The Bermuda Police Service is continuing its investigation into a confirmed firearms incident on Harrington Sound Road, Smith’s, with no injuries reported and an appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage. “There have been no reports of any injuries in connection with this incident, either at the scene or at the hospital. “Detectives from the Serious Crime Unit are actively pursuing all available lines of enquiry, including engagement with members of the surrounding community. “Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have been travelling along Harrington Sound Road between 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, 26 July 2026, and who may have witnessed suspicious activity involving a lone individual wearing dark coloured clothing riding a dark coloured motorcycle eastbound along Harrington Sound Road, to contact police. “Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or, in confidence, the Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Sergeant Odessa Philip, on 717-2193 or via email at ophilip@bps.bm.
