Minister Alexa Lightbourne recently celebrated the opening of the National Museum of Bermuda’s newest exhibition, Your Pictures, Your Objects, Your Stories, Our History, at the Commissioner’s House at National Museum of Bermuda in Dockyard. A Government spokesperson said, “Minister Lightbourne attended the event and shared remarks on behalf of the Minister of Tourism, Transport, Culture and Sport, Owen Darrell, JP, MP. “Featuring community-contributed photographs, treasured objects, and personal narratives, the museum’s exhibition highlights the stories of ordinary Bermudians and demonstrates how individual lives and experiences have shaped the Island’s shared history. A Government spokesperson added, “Minister Lightbourne congratulated the National Museum of Bermuda, its Board, staff, volunteers, and community contributors for creating an exhibition that preserves Bermuda’s heritage while inspiring future generations to share their own stories. “Members of the public are encouraged to visit the exhibition and listen to the remarkable stories behind the photographs and objects on display.
