× Expand Alex De VoreMy family and I moved to Santa Fe a quarter of a century ago. It’s a constant reminder that, like the people that occupy it, Santa Fe is not a static entity, but a chaotic and ever-shifting amalgam of a people, culture and shared history. Even more important than community, local art provides a challenge. This is not to say I am afraid that Santa Fe won’t manage without me. My hope is that this new Santa Fe retains the same values, sense of community and capacity for humanity as it has instilled in me.
