Ghana and Gabon have announced a new phase of cooperation aimed at unlocking trade, investment and strategic partnerships as President John Dramani Mahama and Gabonese President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema held high-level bilateral talks in Accra.
The agreements form part of President Oligui Nguema’s official three-day visit to Ghana and reflect renewed efforts by both nations to move beyond diplomatic relations towards stronger economic collaboration.
President Mahama and President Oligui Nguema reviewed the state of Ghana-Gabon relations and agreed to accelerate cooperation in areas considered critical to economic transformation.
The agreements are expected to improve coordination between government institutions, strengthen diplomatic relations and open new avenues for collaboration.
President Oligui Nguema’s visit concluded with the planting of a commemorative tree at the Jubilee House garden, symbolising the continued growth of relations between Ghana and Gabon.
